...I'm falling in love with photography all over again.

Photography/art is no longer my major...but the art classes i have taken are being put to good use to get my associates in art. so i have to take a couple of more art classes to get that in the spring.

I am taking Photography 1 next semester.
(never taken a photography class in my life, was my major and now its not, but now im actually taking the class) TOO FUNNY

photography will always be apart of me. i have a love/hate relationship with it...wasn't really my career dream

So I've noticed this about myself: Some people only like shooting certain subjects and certain things, but I love to take pictures of everything! If you look at my gallery, my style is all over the place. I don't have one set of photos, I love to edit and see how far i push the limits and take the photo to the next level! I just love seeing how you can take the simplest objects and turn them into a masterpiece.

School is out for 3 months and during this time i have decided to experiment with other mediums of art. I've never really tried painting apart from the 8 year old cheap water color shit, but thats it, so I've decided to try acrylic and see if i like it. I may even experiment with spray paint a bit just for fun. I am going to be taking pictures like a mad woman this summer because i have deprived myself for months because of school work and not having time to just "let go"!

And i have to admit that after drawing nonstop for a whole semester, i might even try to do a little something here and there even though i am not the best drawer...but i have learned that i kind of liked using colored pencils and doing abstract drawings. and i finally used charcoal after a year and i kind of liked it after hating it because it was quick and i needed to get a drawing done quickly and i got it down in like 30 minutes....so i'm going to try and like it again...

i have to take 2-D art in the fall.......might as well except that i will drawing nonstop until i can finally focus on my major...

so here's to what lies ahead.....

i took 306 pictures..only put up 25 of them....for now.


it was very exciting to see all the beautiful cars : ) ... could have stayed till 9pm but we had already been there for 6 hours, plus they kept crashing..therefore they had to take like 7 slow laps..blah

Just so you know, I dont use photoshop for any of my pieces of art. I use photoImpression (a program that came with my camera and its not even the whole program) and i use Microsoft Office Picture Manager (a program that came with the computer! lol)
